Softball (Windmill) Pitching

Marissa DiescherPro Prospects devotes equal time and attention to the training needs of our baseball and softball players. With two softball pitching instructors on staff all year long, we are able to accommodate our athletes’ off-season and in-season training needs.

Our pitching curriculum expands as you master new skills and addresses each player’s individual mechanical, mental and situational needs. For private lesson players, our instructors identify and correct your specific mechanical challenges and help you master grips/pitches and in-game approach. Or you can come in for pre-season “prep” lessons or in-season “tune up” lessons. From beginners looking to learn the foundational mechanics to elite pitchers looking to fine-tune and improve your grips, control and situational pitching, Pro Prospects can help you reach your goals.

Head instructor Darren Rea was a pitcher for the International Men’s Softball Federation national champion New Zealand Black Sox and has been on staff for 8 years. John Arpino, a full-time instructor, has competed in seven national tournaments and has been on staff for 14 years. See below for full bios.
